Shandong Haihua Liwei Chemical Co., Ltd. (formerly Shandong Haihua Group potassium sulfate plant) is located in the northwest of the world-famous"Kite Capital" -Weifang City, Shandong Province, on the southern shore of the Laizhou Bay of Bohai Sea. It is a limited liability company (state-controlled) jointly established by Shandong Haihua Group and Shandong Yubin Chemical Co Ltd. It is a comprehensive utilization enterprise of bittern resources as a supporting compant of Shandong Haihua Group Salt Plant. Annual production capacities :25,000 tons of potassium sulfate, 100,000 tons of magnesium chloride, 45,000 tons of sodium chloride, 100,000 tons of potassium nitrate, 20,000 tons of magnesium nitrate, 200,000 tons of solar molten salt, and 100,000 tons of snow-melting agents.
The production process of the plant is unique in China and has reached the international advanced levels. It has been awarded the Third prize of National Science and Technology Invention, Second Prize of China Light Industry Federation, Second Prize of Shandong Economic and Trade Commission. It has also obtained the national key new product certificate for potassium sulfate.
Relying on the "One Water, Six Uses" project of Shandong Haihua Group, the entire production process is a salt-making wastewater treatment process. The company has strong technical strength, standardized production management, comprehensive testing methods, and stable product quality. It is at the forefront of the comprehensive utilization of bittern resources in the domestic industry. The company has obtained ISO9001:2000 international quality system certification and ISO14001 environmental management system certification. The produced feed additive sodium chloride and magnesium chloride are pure natural and pollution-free green products.
